Académie Internationale Saint-Lumière is an international boarding school offering the French Baccalaureate programme. Founded in 2008, we operate two campuses - in Brussels, Belgium and Lyon, France - and maintain a representative office on Istiklal Caddesi in Istanbul, Turkey.
Our mission is to provide a rigorous French academic education within an international, multicultural environment. We welcome students from over 30 nationalities and prepare them for higher education at leading universities in Europe and worldwide.
Instruction is delivered in French, with English as a core second language. Students with limited French receive intensive language support during their first year through our French Language Integration Programme.
The French Baccalaureate (Baccalaureat) is recognized globally as one of the most demanding secondary school qualifications. Our consistently high pass rates and university placement record reflect the quality of teaching and support our students receive.
Académie Internationale Saint-Lumière is built on three principles: academic excellence, personal development, and international understanding. We expect high standards of work and behaviour, and in return we provide an environment where every student is known, supported, and challenged to reach their potential.
Our Brussels campus is located in the Uccle commune, a residential area in the south of the city. The campus occupies a 4-hectare site with purpose-built academic buildings, boarding houses, sports facilities, and green spaces.
Our Lyon campus is situated in the 6th arrondissement, close to the Parc de la Tete d'Or. The campus combines renovated historic buildings with modern additions, providing an attractive and functional learning environment.
Our Istanbul office on Istiklal Caddesi serves as the regional representative office for Turkey and the surrounding region. The office handles admissions inquiries, organises information events, and provides ongoing support for Turkish families with children at Académie Internationale Saint-Lumière.
The office is staffed year-round and families are welcome to visit by appointment or during scheduled open days.
